Northern Counties are extremely proud of our North East of England roots and the region we have been trading in since 1928. In the past 78 years we have seen many changes in the area, both good and bad. Jobs being lost in the dockyards and shipbuilding industries had a profound affect on the area. Whilst the regeneration of many areas, including the fantastic redevelopments at the Newcastle and Gateshead quayside has resulted in a much more positive outcome.

Throughout our existence, there has remained one constant and that is the spirit, pride, humour and dedication of the North East people and business community. And now, as we are 7 years into a new century the North East of England, as a place to work, live, study and visit has never been stronger.
